Today's post is a review on the Oozoo face mask. I got these from memebox.com. They carry two kinds, one is the hydro lift which comes in the light blue packaging and the illumination which comes in the light pink packaging.
The regular price is $8 per pack but they are on sale right now for $5.
I won't lie, these are a bit pricier than other Korean face packs but not too bad compared to masks sold at Sephora. Sephora's collection are around $5-6, not to mention masks from fresh are $92.
So, let's get into the syringe/packaging aspect. The mask is super fun since it gives you the DIY feeling. The first step is to push the tab on the top of the syringe. This pushes the essence into the ampoule. (DEFINE Ampoule - a sealed glass capsule containing a liquid) And then you shake the syringe to mix the essence.
Tip 1: Apply a lot of pressure when you push the tab in.
Open the valve on the packaging. Remove the safety tape from syringe, remove plastic cap and insert into the valve and inject the essence into the pack.
Tip 2: This part can get a bit tricky/messy, have some napkins or towels around.
Packaging: 9/10 - It was so fun to use the syringe but minus one point because it can get messy when you take off the cap on the syringe. The cotton sheet was uber soft and I couldn't stop myself from touching it the entire time it was on my face hehe
Price Point 9/10 - It is pricey but not as crazy as some other high end masks. It's nice to treat yourself once in awhile!
Overall score: 9.5/10
